UNITED METHODIST WOMEN
Hilton United Methodist Women meet on the first Tuesday of the month
at 7 PM in the Multipurpose Room of the church.
The projects we support are:
- Turkey Dinner which is open to the community--Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011
- Attendance at the Friendship Circles cookie Exchange in December
- Packages and cards to college students and service people several times a year
- Prayer and Share Shower supporting the Prayer group with much needed card,
stamps, money in February
- Semi- annual garage sale in March or April
- Victorian tea for church and community in May
- Lilac Luncheon held to honor our church members who 80 years old and older also in May
- Girls night out--a dinner open to all HUMC women at a restaurant. ( in June)
- Encourage attendance at the Women of Faith Conference
- Organize meals for family members and guest who have lost a love one.
- Organize meals for family members who are in need of our support while sick or recuperating from surgery
- We have speakers on topics of interest several time during the year.
